Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction and improvement projects for the Power Generation, Hydroelectric system in Auburn, CA. You will review capital projects, coordinate with crews, project managers, and engineering, and provide constructability input through scoping, design reviews, and turnover to construction teams.

The role requires travel about 80% of the time, mentoring of staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience in industrial engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of Excel and project planning tools.

Responsabilités

• Applies broad expertise to work on projects in multiple disciplines (civil, electrical, process instrumentation, and pipeline construction).
• Works with Project Managers and Gas Operation Supervisors to understand targets and identify potential contractual projects.
• Reviews drawings and data for RFP/contract processes and supports change orders as needed.
• Leads job scope walks, reviews design IFC drawings, and ensures schedule targets are met.
• Monitors safety, quality, cost and schedule, and coordinates with planning teams.
