Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Lead Hydrocarbon Scheduler in the Houston area. This senior role requires oversight of scheduling, forecasting, and optimization of hydrocarbon movement, working across dock coordination, logistics, and supply teams to maximize efficiency.

You will mentor schedulers, implement process improvements, and coordinate with commercial contacts to ensure alignment with trading and refinery needs.

Qualifications

• Expert on transport markets with an understanding of both internal and external asset activities.
• Ability to manage documentation meticulously and maintain knowledge base of pipelines, trade routes and associated tariff charges, where applicable.
• Advanced knowledge of systems and scheduling platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of refinery operations, product output, storage asset utilization, and crude markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hydrocarbon Scheduler oversees scheduling activities and ensures documentation and databases are updated and compliant.
• Forecasts needs, optimizes inventories and movement schedules across transportation modes.
• Develops nominations in alignment with internal/external customers and implements tools for performance evaluation.
• Drives efficiency with IT solutions and mentoring schedulers while coordinating withDock Coordination Manager and Logistics Analyst.
