Job summary

You will manage the technical team, coordinate with subconsultants, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, including providing the PE seal when required. Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred but not required.
• Minimum 10–15+ years of related work experience.
• PE License required.
• Experience as Discipline Lead/Sub-Discipline Lead/Deputy Lead on AD transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Sub-Discipline Lead or Deputy Discipline Lead on AD projects and lead the technical group.
• Plan, direct, and supervise design team work with manpower and financial accountability.
• Lead engineers and design staff in technical excellence and growth.
• Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analyses.
• Ensure design compliance with codes and regulations and seal when required.
• Prepare material/equipment specifications and coordinate subconsultants.
• Maintain professional society affiliations and stay updated on Technologies.
• Assist with budget estimates and staffing for defined scope and schedule.
• Perform other administrative and technical duties as needed.
