Chant Engineering Co. in the Doylestown, PA area is seeking a full-time Hydraulic Engineer to design hydraulic power and control systems for custom industrial machinery and test stands.

You will manage projects from concept to startup and support customers with on-site testing and training. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical and software engineers, perform sizing calculations, specify components, and ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of PLC and closed-loop control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design hydraulic power and control systems for custom machinery and test stands per specifications.
• Specify components to meet customer performance specs.
• Manage projects from conception to startup and testing.
• Provide technical support, on-site start-up, and training for customers.
