Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Senior Engineer - Master Planner and Modeling - Water Wastewater to lead hydraulic modeling and long‑range planning across water, wastewater, and recycled water systems in California. The role blends technical leadership with project management, guiding junior staff and collaborating across disciplines to develop master plans, feasibility studies, and capital improvement programs.

Proficiency with InfoWater/ArcGIS Pro and Innovyze is highly valued.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
5–8 years in master planning and hydraulic modeling.
Experience with InfoWater, InfoWater Pro, InfoSWMM, InfoSewer or similar tools.
ArcGIS Pro expertise and Innovyze integration.
Excellent technical writing and strong collaboration skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently within budget and schedule.
Experience with Asset Management software like InfoAsset Planner is desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and track milestones, tasks, and activities.
Develop and run hydraulic models and document results.
Conduct water, recycled water, and wastewater masterplanning analyses.
Attend project meetings and communicate results clearly.
Lead projects and assist business development where appropriate.
Archive final deliverables including reports and models.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on master plans and capital programs.
Integrate facility characteristics into hydraulic models for planning and design.
