Job summary

Motion Industries in Anaheim, CA, seeks a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role may guide junior technicians and requires hands-on shop experience and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities include diagnosing components, fabricating parts, assembling equipment, testing performance, and providing quotes to customers. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Read hydraulic schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on assigned customer products in the service shop.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair components.
• Diagnose system components and propose solutions.
• Prepare job forms with parts and work required.
• Assemble and test equipment for shipment or storage.
• Assist customers with technical questions and quotes.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
