Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of water resources projects for public and private clients in Rexburg, Idaho. You will perform hydraulic analyses and assist with 1D/2D modeling using HEC-RAS and SMS SRH-2D, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, PE registration preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Water Resources or related field.
• PE registration preferred.
• 5+ years Civil Engineering experience with exposure to hydraulic modeling, hydrology, drainage, or water resources.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and hydrology principles.

Responsibilities

• Support hydraulic and water resources project delivery for public and private clients.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for bridges, culverts, floodplains, and stormwater systems.
• Assist with 1D/2D hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS and SMS SRH-2D.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
