Bombardier seeks an Experienced Propulsion Systems Engineer in Wichita to support propulsion systems from proposal through certification and in‑service phases. The role emphasizes integration of Powerplant, APU, FIDEEX, Fuel and FTIS with strong collaboration across engineering teams.

You will review documentation, engage suppliers, and ensure compliance with Part 25 certification requirements while traveling as needed and supporting ITAR controlled projects.

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical
• 5 years’ experience in aircraft propulsion systems (Powerplant, APU, Fuel, FTIS)
• Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material
• Experience with propulsion system design, qualification and certification testing

Responsabilidades

• Deliver propulsion systems engineering support from proposal phases to development, certification and in‑service
• Apply engineering knowledge to Powerplant, APU, FIDEEX, Fuel and FTIS for missionized solutions
• Develop concept and trade studies, requirements capture, scope of work definition and supplier engagement during proposals
• Produce technical proposals and supplier statements of work, including written material and presentations
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to support engineering activities
• Participate in system installations, modifications and operation
• Develop relationships with departments and suppliers
• Review supplier documentation and verification plans
