Job summary

Kalles Group in Seattle is seeking a Senior Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer Consultant to design, implement, and support hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Microsoft Azure, delivering secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

You will work across compute, networking, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery, driving automation, IaC with Terraform and GitHub, and adopting AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience across on-prem and cloud.
• Hands-on Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and clustering expertise.
• Experience designing hybrid Azure environments with governance and security.
• Consultative, solution-oriented engineering mindset with automation focus.
• Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior advisor across on-premises and Azure infrastructure.
• Architect and administer core Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Design and manage virtualization and high-availability configurations.
• Lead storage, backup, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Implement IaC and automation with Terraform and GitHub.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve delivery.
