Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant II to lead complex workstreams within our Evidence & Strategy practice. You will serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, develop strategic recommendations, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development by identifying expansion opportunities.

In this role, you will design methodologies and analytic plans, translate project scopes into executable research approaches, and lead technical delivery from scope to output while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in epidemiology, data science, health economics, health policy, pharmacy administration, statistics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of life sciences consulting, healthcare, or pharmaceutical/device industry experience.
• Experience presenting research results at scientific conferences and/or a record of peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Lend deep statistical, epidemiological, and/or econometric expertise to proposals and study protocols.
• Perform descriptive and advanced statistical analyses using large patient/claims databases.
• Develop and author study reports, scientific publications, conference abstracts, and posters.
• Independently manage workflow and contribute to research processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality results.
