Placements24 is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to design and guide enterprise IT solutions across energy, logistics and analytics. The role requires leadership with business and technical teams, ensuring scalable, secure and cost-effective outcomes.

The position is hybrid, with collaboration at Upington offices, and emphasizes staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years of IT architecture, solution design and systems integration experience.
• Experience in architecting and implementing complex enterprise solutions in energy/industrial sectors.
• Familiar with microservices and SOA patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of EAI patterns and technologies.
• Familiarity with data management, analytics, and IoT is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions integrating diverse business applications and systems.
• Create architectural blueprints, standards and guidelines for enterprise IT systems.
• Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms and vendors to meet business needs.
