Job summary

WalkMe Ltd. in Raleigh, NC, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. You will help develop our runtime engine, enable reliable deployments, and enhance the online experience for hundreds of millions of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE or similar role.
• Proven software development experience, preferably from a venture-backed startup or a top tech firm.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with tools like GitLab.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud platform.
• Solid understanding of containers/docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience managing databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with security best practices for infrastructure and apps.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive learner with a drive for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing deployment pipelines for smooth software releases.
• Help implement and maintain observability solutions for system reliability.
• Support local development environments to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to align infrastructure with project needs.
• Contribute to improving security of infrastructure through audits and measures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to boost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infra and app issues to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve scalability and security.
