Job summary

WalkMe, an SAP company, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering team and help build our runtime engine for hundreds of millions of users. You will own deployment pipelines and automation, improve observability, and support developer workflows in a hybrid U.S.

environment. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, applying IaC practices and security-minded thinking to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps/SRE or similar roles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Proficiency in AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Security best practices for infra and apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment pipelines to enable smooth software releases.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions for monitoring performance and reliability.
• Support local development environments to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with project needs.
• Contribute to security improvements and audits for infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for ops efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve scalability and security.
