Job summary

S2i2 Inc. in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer (Cloud and Hybrid Storage) to advance secure, resilient storage and backup for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

You will work with Azure, AWS, SAN, NAS, and object storage to deliver enterprise storage and data protection across multi-cloud environments. This on-site role requires IAT Level II certification, DoD IT experience, and hands-on expertise with SAN/backup and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II baseline certification required.
• Cloud architecture certs listed: AWS/Azure etc.
• 5+ years engineering in storage and backup.
• 3+ years with hybrid storage (Azure/AWS).
• 2+ years with enterprise SAN and backup/restore.
• 2+ years DoD or DoW IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud and hybrid storage engineering for DLA.
• Perform DR failovers and ensure high availability.
• Design and maintain storage arrays, fabric switches, and backup in cloud and on-prem.
• Document architecture, designs, and test results.
