S2i2 Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer (Cloud and Hybrid Storage) to advance secure, resilient storage and backup for the Defense Logistics Agency. The role covers SAN, NAS, object storage, backup, and disaster recovery across Azure, AWS, and OCI, in NIPRNet/SIPRNet.

You will document designs and test results to improve reliability across DLA storage infrastructure. On-site, Mon–Fri, with hands-on work on cloud/on-prem storage and DR, and collaboration with multiple DLA sites to ensure high

Qualifications

IAT Level II baseline certification or equivalent security cert.
Minimum five years of enterprise storage and backup engineering experience.
At least three years hands-on with hybrid storage (Azure and/or AWS).
At least two years with enterprise SAN and backup/restore (Cohesity, NetBackup, AWS Backup, Azure Site Recovery).
At least two years supporting DoD or DoW IT systems.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering for cloud and hybrid storage, backup, and disaster recovery in DLA environments.
Perform DR failovers and ensure high availability for critical enterprise apps.
Design, implement, and maintain storage arrays, fabric switches, and backup systems on-premises and in the cloud (Azure/AWS).
Document architecture, designs, and test outcomes for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
