Job summary

S2i2 Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer focusing on cloud and hybrid storage to support the Defense Logistics Agency's storage and data protection needs. You will manage DR, ensure high availability for enterprise apps, and engineer storage arrays and backups across on-premises, Azure, and AWS.

Requirement includes IAT Level II baseline and multiple cloud/storage certifications, with DoD IT systems experience preferred. On-site role across multiple DLA sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of engineering experience including storage and backup integration.
• At least three years hands-on with hybrid cloud storage (Azure and/or AWS).
• At least two years with enterprise SAN and backup/restore (Cohesity, NetBackup, AWS Backup, Azure Site Recovery, OCI).
• At least two years supporting DoD or DoW IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for cloud and hybrid storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions in DLA environments
• Perform DR failovers and ensure high availability for critical enterprise applications
• Design, implement, and maintain storage arrays, fabric switches, and backup systems on-premises and in the cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Document architecture, designs, and test outcomes for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
