The Manager oversees the systems engineering team focused on virtualization, storage, and cloud environments, ensuring secured, high-performance infrastructure. Candidates must have at least 10 years in systems administration and experience in healthcare IT environments.

This full-time role offers a salary range of $161,000–$175,000 annually, along with competitive benefits and the opportunity to work in an academic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise operations.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital IT environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure operations including servers, virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Supervise Systems Engineers and infrastructure staff.
• Ensure high availability and performance of mission‑critical clinical and administrative systems.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and VMware platforms.

Skills

Advanced expertise in Windows and Linux enterprise environments

Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V

Strong knowledge of enterprise storage platforms such as SAN and NAS

Experience with cloud platforms including Azure and AWS

Strong understanding of automation, scripting, and configuration management tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or related field
