Job summary
Energy Services Group seeks a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. The role partners with development, security, and infrastructure teams to drive automation, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency across hybrid environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 7–8+ years in DevOps/Cloud or Infrastructure roles.
- Experience designing and operating enterprise environments across Windows, Linux, and SQL-based systems.
- Strong experience with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Hands-on with virtualization and container platforms (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash/Go).
- Observability/monitoring with Datadog or similar.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Architect hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure using IaC.
- Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
- Develop and maintain observability platforms and cost controls.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish technical standards.
- Assist security teams to enforce compliance and best practices.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
