Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for SaaS integration to lead onboarding, deployment, and sustainment of mission-critical applications in a DoD context. You will design CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation while collaborating with cloud, security, and operations teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise across Linux, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and enterprise security services, with a focus on scalable, reliable service delivery in a hybrid Adelphi, MD setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Hands-on DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or enterprise SaaS integration experience.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automation.
• Experience with containers, APIs, IaC, and automated deployment tools.
• Strong Linux administration, DNS, TLS/SSL, networking, and connectivity skills.
• Experience integrating SaaS apps with enterprise identity, logging, and security services.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver in production environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of creating docs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, integration, deployment, and sustainment of SaaS platforms and Tier 3 apps.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, config management, and automated deployment workflows.
• Develop scalable DevOps solutions to streamline integration and reliability.
• Integrate SaaS apps with enterprise auth, APIs, logging, certs, networking, and security tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Linux, cloud, apps, networking, and security environments.
• Serve as escalation point for SaaS integration, deployment, and operations.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, reviews, and prioritization for DevOps work.
• Create reusable automation scripts, runbooks, and technical docs.
• Collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, application, and operations teams.
