Job summary

IBM Consulting in Bethesda seeks a Senior Red Hat Architect to lead hybrid cloud platform design for federal mission systems. You will serve as the technical authority for platform pursuits, delivering secure OpenShift-based solutions with Ansible, Terraform, and Vault, aligned to STIG and FedRAMP requirements.

You will own accelerators, drive demonstrations, and collaborate across IBM Technology and Red Hat field teams to expand deal sizes and shorten delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Ten+ years in enterprise platform engineering or architecture with OpenShift and Ansible in production.
Hands-on experience deploying hardened Kubernetes-native platforms to federal standards (DISA STIG, FedRAMP).
Experience designing hybrid cloud infra for DoD, civilian, or intel environments.
Experience leading client-facing technical solutioning on multi-million engagements.

Responsibilities

Serve as the client-facing technical authority on platform pursuits and shape opportunities.
Design and deliver secure hybrid cloud platforms using Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, Terraform, Vault.
Build and own accelerators like STIG-hardened OpenShift architectures and cATO automation pipelines.
Lead platform demos and proofs of concept to demonstrate differentiators in competitive pursuits.
