Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) department within the Effectors Center. This onsite role focuses on designing, building and integrating state-of-the-art missile flight simulation environments and test systems.

The position requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, strong circuit and system design skills, and proficiency with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic and Xilinx Vivado. U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Electrical design from circuit card level to full system.
• Experience with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado.
• Advanced experience with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required; remote work not possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of missile flight simulation systems as part of multidiscipline teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, interfaces, cabling, drawings and schematics.
• Manage technical, cost and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve issues in development and implementation of test products.
