Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior electrical engineer for the Hardware in the Loop Department in Tucson, AZ. You will design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems, work on test environments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support warfighter delivery.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, advanced schematic capture and circuit design skills, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience.
• Electrical engineering design experience from circuit card level to full system.
• Proficient with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado or equivalent.
• Experience with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required; remote work not possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation/test systems.
• Create test interfaces, cabling, schematics, and circuit design analyses.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
