Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or environmental disciplines.
• 8+ years designing or managing HV transmission line design; 12+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of design and construction processes for transmission projects.
• Willingness to learn cutting-edge power industry developments and entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to work independently and lead external teams; strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to interface with landowners and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PLS-CADD, and ArcGIS Online.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for major transmission line projects with internal and external teams.
• Plan design scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Review submittals and studies for standards, permitting, financing, and execution needs.
• Manage transmission structure engineering and geotechnical investigations.
• Support other disciplines; participate in site visits and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and manage RFPs, MSAs, and Service Orders for engineering work.
• Maintain updates to CAPEX estimates and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide due diligence support and opportunities for continuous improvement.
