Job summary

Hobart Food Equipment and Service seeks a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment installations and repairs. The role includes after-hours and on-call commitments, with a focus on complex troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and HVACR systems.

The candidate should have 4–7 years in equipment service or 2–4 years in HVACR, with strong schematic interpretation, and a safety-minded approach to field service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience.
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
• Industry certification (CFESA/NATE/Hobart) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, diagnoses and repairs commercial food equipment on-site.
• Interprets schematics and follows service manuals.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures and maintains tools/inventory.
