Qualifications

• Valid Virginia driver’s license is required.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
• State of Virginia HVAC or Journeyman license.
• Documented hands-on experience in commercial or industrial HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, installation, and repairs of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and related control systems.
• Maintain, repair, and support Zone Mechanics tasks across carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing to keep zones operational.
• Enter time, progress, materials, tasks and completion data in the work order system; update system as work is completed.
• Ensure daily total hours do not exceed 7.5 hours unless overtime is approved.
• Maintain service records, work orders, and requisitions; assist administration as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule; participate in weather-related duties including snow/ice removal.
