Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to help deliver innovative utility solutions for industrial clients. You will contribute to the development and execution of process utility systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.

You will shape best practices, apply advanced engineering approaches, and grow your expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with approximately 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 7+ years of experience with utility systems such as steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other project disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
• Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Partner with clients, vendors, and suppliers to generate cost estimates and contribute to proposal development.
• Create mass and energy balances to support process design.
• Produce P&IDs and inspect/annotate drawings.
• Define operational parameters and performance criteria.
• On-site construction support and commissioning activities.
• Mentor and coach junior team members as needed.
