A Brief Overview

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Senior HVAC Technician will be responsible for preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance work and minimal installations with our client. As a senior service technician, you will set the standard and help develop entry-level technicians.

What You Will Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, documenting all work in the CMMS.
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery such as motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, air handling units, VAV, and fan-powered boxes.
• Ensure safe operation of environmental control systems, boilers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose problems using inspection, testing, and monitoring techniques, ensuring safety and proper tool use.
• Familiarize with facility layout and environmental control systems, understanding operating procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and standards set by CGL, OSHA, and clients.
• Inspect work for compliance with safety and building codes.
• Escort subcontractors and perform other maintenance tasks as directed.
• Mentor and train other HVAC technicians and inspect their work. Travel may be required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete all safety, compliance, and developmental training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of building maintenance experience required.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.
• Experience managing others preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Willing to work on-call shifts occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
• EPA and HVAC certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license in state required.
