Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an HVAC Technician to monitor, maintain, and repair our HVAC systems, ensuring guest comfort and safety across our properties. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, code compliance, and thorough records management.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in HVAC, in-depth system knowledge, and a collaborative leadership style suited for a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing work in HVAC trade.
• In-depth knowledge of maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Must be able to work well in stressful, high pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes to satisfactory results.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and performing preventative maintenance of all HVAC systems
• Diagnosing and repairing issues that are found within the systems as needed
• Installation and repair of small HVAC equipment such as PTAC units, condensing units, small RTU's, etc
• Routine inspection of systems to ensure compliance with all state and local codes and regulations
• Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records
