Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 5+ years experience in healthcare facilities maintenance.
• Driver's License required.
• 2+ years healthcare maintenance experience preferred; 5+ years HVAC/R experience required.
• 3+ years commercial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages; installs, inspects, maintains, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Prepares the preventive maintenance schedule and reports.
• Coordinates electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per applicable codes.
• Assists in operation and maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems; oversees repairs.
• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and structures as needed.
• Monitors work by outside contractors and ensures documentation.
• Responds to in-house work orders, preventive maintenance tasks and emergencies.
• Provides on-the-job skills training and supports new process development.
