Cooper Lighting Solutions in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Sr. HVAC Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe operation of complex equipment and systems.

Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as an HVAC Tech and possess an EPA-Universal Certification. A high school diploma or GED is required, with vocational training preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as an HVAC Tech.
• 2 years with systems that include BAS controls and healthcare HVAC experience.
• EPA-Universal Certification required.

Sr. HVAC Mechanic

Overview: Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain the safe operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Specific systems may include electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes, and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of Vocational School Preferred

Work Experience

• 5 years of experience as an HVAC Tech Required
• 2 years with systems that include BAS controls, experience must include commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Conditioned Air Georgia State license (Non-Restricted, or Restricted) Required
• EPA-Universal Certification Required
