Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environments.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment (air handlers, RTUs, exhaust, chillers, cooling towers, pumps).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and facility utility equipment.
• Diagnose system failures using manuals, drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and manufacturer docs.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and airflow in GMP environments.
• Support BAS/BMS and HVAC control troubleshooting.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with supervisors and site stakeholders.
• Perform filter/belt/bearing/motor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with HVAC commissioning, qualification support, and performance verification.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for facility/HVAC.
• Document maintenance in CMMS; participate in shutdown planning and execution.
• May perform duties of Maintenance Technician I/II as assigned.
