Job summary

Under general direction, you will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure reliable operation across district facilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, five years of HVAC experience, an HVAC universal certificate, EPA refrigerant course, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a background clearance.
• Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Five years HVAC experience required.
• HVAC universal certificate and EPA refrigerant course completion required.
• Must have valid AZ driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service all types of air conditioning units, related devices, and systems.
• Repair and service all types of mechanical controls systems.
• Repair and service all the non-technical portions of the school site central plants.
• Process work orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare paperwork for parts orders.
• Must continue to seek professional development in regard to new technology and additional technical skills.
• Being flexible
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
