Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Specialist to inspect and maintain critical building systems, including chillers, boilers, VAV, and HVAC controls. The role requires substantial hands-on HVAC experience and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

The position involves operating site-critical engineering equipment, working with BAS, and ensuring continuous operation of climate and life-safety systems. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for access to classified information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with HVAC systems.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor Engineering systems and equipment; maintain logs.
• Mentor HVAC Technicians and provide guidance.
• Operate and maintain site-critical Engineering systems and equipment for climate control and power.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and respond to alarms.
• Record and report faults and anomalies; support emergency responses.
