Job summary

Koloa Landing Resort seeks an Engineer II HVAC Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain HVAC/R systems and refrigeration equipment across properties, ensuring guest comfort and safe operation.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, EPA universal refrigerant license, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, boilers, and controls. On-site Hawaii location with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years as a repair technician working on HVAC, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration.
• EPA universal refrigerant license.
• Completion of HVAC repair, installation, and controls course.
• Training related to boilers and heaters.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC/R systems and equipment through daily inspections and routine maintenance.
• Monitor and control property temperature and energy usage.
• Replace air conditioner filters and calibrate controls and meters.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams and install/repair wiring as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on major repairs or upgrades.
• Respond to guest room calls and ensure safety and quality standards.
