Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Gresham, Oregon, seeks a Senior Technician-Facilities (HVAC) to support Fab 4 operations on a 6:00 AM–6:15 PM compressed front night schedule.

You will maintain HVAC and scrubber systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to alarms within cleanroom parameters. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience in manufacturing HVAC, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC knowledge and 2-year degree/certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing HVAC environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of facilities HVAC and scrubber systems within cleanroom parameters.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems.
• Respond to site HVAC alarms promptly and effectively.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to HVAC activity.
• Collaborate with engineering and management; communicate findings clearly.
• Assist with safety procedures and training in assigned areas.
