Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an HVAC/R Operations Technician to support our Boise wafer fabrication facility. You will maintain and operate critical HVAC/R systems and work with skilled trades to ensure uptime.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, 1+ year experience, and strict safety practices including cleanroom attire, LOTO, and NFPA 70E; strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights) and switch shifts as needed.
• 1 year of experience in HVAC/R, building upkeep, or manufacturing.
• Wears fab-specific clean room garments to prevent contamination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC/R systems including chiller plants, cleanroom HVAC/R, and process exhaust.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance with accurate records and inspections.
• Monitor systems, diagnose faults from diagrams, and respond to alarms to restore service.
• Uphold safety standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E) and work with gases/chemicals safely.
