Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Gresham, Oregon, Fab 4, offers a Senior Technician-Facilities (HVAC) role in the Site Services department on a front night compressed work week (6:00 AM - 6:15 PM, Tue–Thu and every other Mon).

You will support semiconductor manufacturing at Fab 4, ensuring HVAC operations meet cleanroom quality and permit requirements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC maintenance in a manufacturing setting, with proficiency in MS Office and experience with building control

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC maintenance operations in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate HVAC and scrubber systems within quality parameters and permit limits.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Respond to site HVAC system alarms.
• Maintain written documents and reports related to HVAC.
• Communicate with team members, engineering and management.
• Assist supervisors with training requirements and safety procedures.
• Support other trades as needed.
