Job summary

Anderson University Physical Plant offers a 12‑month, full‑time HVAC Technician III position to join the Department of Campus Facilities. Under the supervision of the Physical Plant Supervisor, the HVAC Technician III will troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to ensure safe and effective working conditions.

Successful candidates will have 3+ years in the Maintenance Technician Series, a high school diploma or GED, and a technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge and/or experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other basic maintenance trades.
• Technical degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, modification, and repair in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Operate hand and power tools safely to complete work.
• Work under general supervision to keep university facilities safe and functional.
