Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Senior HVAC Technician to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, motors, and building automation systems for a comfortable and safe resident environment.

You will perform maintenance, respond to emergencies, inspect system safety and efficiency, read blueprints, and conduct preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidance, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service; education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants is required.
• Must be able to work scheduled and on-call overtime as necessary.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment as required.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Inspect, monitor and evaluate system safety and efficiency.
• Read blueprints and sketches; document work.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair designated refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
