Job summary

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Parkville, MD seeks a Senior HVAC Technician to maintain and operate heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, motors, hot water systems and building automation systems to ensure resident comfort and safety.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, read blueprints, and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment. A minimum of 5 years HVAC service experience and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service.
• Must possess current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and related systems.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Inspect and evaluate the efficiency and safety of systems for trouble-free operation.
• Read blueprints and isometrics and document work.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
