Job summary

Jake’s in Little River, SC is hiring a Senior HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years of hands-on service experience. You will independently diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant issues, and document service notes.

This role offers $27–$33 per hour plus commissions, great benefits and PTO, and opportunities to mentor others while maintaining safe, organized service vehicles and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC service and repair experience required.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional communication, dependable attendance, and a customer‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clearly explain findings and repair options to customers.
• Complete accurate service notes and document parts used.
• Support less experienced technicians with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Maintain an organized service vehicle and follow safe work practices.
