HVAC Service Technician

Howell Chase is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Bluffton, SC.

We are specifically looking for a seasoned service technician with 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience who can confidently diagnose, repair, and service residential HVAC systems. This is not an entry-level or maintenance-only position.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems

• Troubleshoot complex heating and cooling issues

• Perform repairs correctly and efficiently

• Conduct system inspections and identify necessary repairs or improvements

• Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners

• Provide excellent customer service throughout every service call

• Accurately document work performed, recommendations, and equipment information

• Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle

• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices

• Work closely with dispatch, management, and other technicians

• Identify opportunities to improve customers\' comfort, efficiency, and system reliability

What We\'re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of HVAC service technician experience

• Strong residential HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently in the field

• Experience diagnosing electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners can understand

• Valid driver\'s license with an acceptable driving record

• Professional, dependable, and accountable

• Willingness to continue learning and improving

Preferred:

• EPA certification

• NATE or other HVAC certifications

• Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field-service software

• Experience working in a residential service and sales environment
