GPI is seeking a Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our Albany, NY team. This role leads the design of complex HVAC and related systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, and municipal facilities, while mentoring junior staff and guiding project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 10+ years of HVAC design experience, and strong skills in Revit/AutoCAD, with a proven record managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships within diverse project types.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering and HVAC design experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy-efficient building design, plumbing systems, and codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard mechanical design software.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring staff.
• Healthcare, higher education, commercial, and public-sector project experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for diverse facilities.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor engineers and designers.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site visits and construction-phase support.
• Support business development, proposals, and client presentations.
