Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a highly skilled HVAC/MEP Subject Matter Expert to support facilities at MacDill AFB, Florida. The role conducts professional assessments, documents conditions, and develops cost-effective improvements for government facilities.

You will also generate BOMs, manage data in government systems, and ensure compliance with Air Force guidance and safety requirements. Ideal candidates have extensive maintenance/engineering experience, familiarity with military

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance, repair, and engineering facility experience.
• Ability to identify field civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire system components and plan/perform maintenance or repairs.
• Knowledge of building codes and life-safety requirements for assessment services.
• Three years of experience in a military environment and familiarity with Air Force guidance and regs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; willingness to work with data from geospatial databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HVAC personnel to develop Major Repair and Replacement plans and refrigerant inventory review.
• Document current facility and equipment conditions and deficiencies.
• Provide cost estimates and improvements; report data sheets for each asset.
• Assist with HVAC/setpoint strategy for optimal operation.
• Review SOW/RFPs to ensure high-quality, warranted products for government projects.
