Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a design engineer to develop and maintain residential and commercial HVAC products, ensuring best-in-class performance across multiple platforms. You will design, analyze, and qualify systems, lead development cycles, and support manufacturing, sales, and quality teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, with HVAC focus preferred, 5 years of design experience, and familiarity with simulation tools and programming languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC focus preferred.
• 5 years design and project experience preferred.
• Experience with state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Familiar with programming languages.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide measurable contribution to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage individual projects and special engineering requests throughout the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems employing advanced analytical methods and experimental techniques.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Conduct analytical studies employing state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Ensure design quality, supporting your calculations and design proposals.
• Support manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, technical services, and supply chain functions.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Conduct presentations for technical and business personnel.
• Document product designs by preparing bills of material, drawings, special customer requests, and product change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and test agencies.
