Job summary

Open Control Systems seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to lead commercial HVAC solutions in the Orlando, FL market. You will develop relationships with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers, and close complex sales by applying technical expertise to tailor HVAC system solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC sales, a technical degree, and proven ability to manage opportunities from lead generation through project completion. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of successful experience in commercial HVAC sales, applied equipment sales, building automation sales, mechanical systems sales, or a similar customer-facing technical sales role.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and maintaining an active sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell product lines by developing long-term relationships with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers.
• Generate high-quality sales leads, secure orders, negotiate prices, and execute projects through to completion.
• Provide knowledge and consultation in HVAC system solutions, including financial and performance-based considerations.
