Job summary

Daikin Applied in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician IV to service commercial and industrial equipment, with comprehensive training available. You will lead up to 10 technicians, oversee start-ups and contract delivery, and influence project outcomes with technical leadership.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of related experience, an HVAC certification or Associate's degree, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience with service management and contract-driven maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for up to 10 HVAC technicians
• Ensure timely start-up of maintenance contracts and efficient installations
• Negotiate subcontract agreements and serve as primary contact
• Utilize Service Management System to plan work and ensure contract requirements are met
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and ensure equipment is in good order
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide troubleshooting and repairs
• Assist Sales with site surveys and reviewing estimates
• Promote safe work practices and provide OSHA-compliant safety training
