Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician III in Atlanta, GA to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers. You will lead rebuilds, train Level I/II technicians, and ensure compliance with safety policies while providing exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, experience with a range of equipment, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• HVAC-related training or certification
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems and interpret schematics
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Repair and replace defective components for fan coils, chillers, rooftops, and boilers
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
• Analyze chiller trend data to optimize performance
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits and mentor junior technicians
• Document service activities, billing, inventory, and time used
• Explain technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders
• Participate in training and maintain required certifications
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to OSHA policies
• Potentially travel with some overnight assignments
