Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II in Montgomery, AL. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and AHUs.

Lead Level I technicians and ensure safety and accuracy in every service call. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, warranty service applications, and documenting billing and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot components, wiring, and controls at Rooftops, chillers, boilers, and AHUs.
• Mentor Level I technicians and participate in on-the-job training.
• Maintain safety standards and keep work area clean and organized.
