Job summary

Apex Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose problems on-site, communicate solutions clearly, and complete repairs with high workmanship. You will work with commercial, industrial, and occasional residential equipment, supported by company vehicles, tools, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across multiple equipment types.
• Commercial or industrial HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable record.
• NATE certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues accurately.
• Work independently on commercial, industrial, and occasional residential equipment.
• Perform maintenance and preventative service.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Determine whether equipment requires repair, maintenance, or replacement.
• Clearly explain findings and recommendations to customers.
• Complete service work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Represent Apex professionally in the field.
